TRAINING: Masters circuits training resumes on Monday nights at 8pm in the KDYS. Juvenile Indoor circuits training will be split across two groups from here to Christmas on Tuesdays nights starting on Tuesday Oct 9th. The U11 to U14 age group will be a development session from 7pm to 8pm in the Green School Hall and the U15 upwards will start at 8pm to 9.30pm approximately. Outdoor training for juveniles will take place in the ITT at 7pm on Thursdays starting on the 11^th Oct and on Saturdays in An Riocht with a time to be decided. The Saturday session is in An Riocht track and will allow us to develop the technical events better during the winter period. Munster Regional Squad sessions will take place at the following venues over the coming months; Saturday October 20^th in UL, Limerick, 11am to 1.30pm; Saturday November 3^rd, Cork IT, 2pm-4pm; Saturday November 24^th, Castleisland and Nenagh, 11am to 1.30pm. Athletes selected for the squad sessions will be notified directly by the AAI by post over the coming week or so. The panels are under constant review and any athlete who feels they should have included should contact the secretary.

RUNNING LEAGUE: We have had a lot of enquiries about the running league and we have set a tentative date of Friday 19^th of October as a start date at 6.30pm in O’Donnells. The theme of the AAI for this year’s running year is to ‘meet and train’. The AAI will also be running a course for those interested in getting involved in Dublin on the Saturday 13^th October. Contact the secretary if you wish to be included on the course.

MISCELLANEOUS: Many thanks to all, who help out with our annual church gate collection on Saturday and Sunday of the weekend before last. Our awards night is scheduled for Friday 9^th of November in the Earl Of Desmond where we will have fifty plus athletes receiving awards again this year.
