Notes 7/6/06 On Sunday 28 May at Castleisland the Munster Masters and Juvenile Combined Events took place. We had several athletes competing and these are the results. Well done to everyone. On Monday last St. Brendan's held their Open Sports in the GAA grounds in Ardfert. The beautiful weather probably affected the entry but those who attended had a very enjoyable afternoon. We had many athletes competing and secured the plaque for the best overall club. In addition the Best Overall Male Athlete and Female Athlete were won by Eoin O'Carroll and Louise O'Connor respectively. Congratulations to both these fine young athletes and all who won on the day. In addition we were 1st in the Boys U-9, Girls U-9 and Mixed U-11 Relays as well as 2nd in the Girls U-13, Boys U-13, Girls U-15 and Boys U-15 Relays. Again well done to everyone. Outdoor training continues at Mounthawk Secondary School from 7:00 to 8:00pm and in Castleisland from 7:00 to 8:00pm on Thursdays for all Juvenile athletes. Please note that there is no training in Mounthawk on Thursdays for the next two weeks as we prepare for the Munster Club Championships. Masters circuit training takes place as usual on Mondays at 8:00pm in the KDYS hall.
