Club Notes 17/5/06 The Kerry Juvenile Track & Field Championships were held in Castleisland over the past two weekends. Overall our club did very well coming second behind Gneeveguilla for the Best Overall Club. The main difference between the clubs was the Relays so something to work on for next year! However many of our athletes who attend training on a regular basis did not compete at these championships. This also could have helped us win the Best Overall Club Award. Outdoor juvenile training continues at Mounthawk Secondary School from 7:00 to 8:00pm for all Juvenile athletes on Tuesdays and for U-9 to U-11 on Thursdays. All new athletes are welcome. For U-12 to U-19, training will take place in Castleisland from 7:00 to 8:00pm on Thursdays. Masters circuit training takes place on Mondays at 8:00pm at the KDYS hall. A number of dates are now confirmed and athletes should note these and in particular entries may need to be notified to the Secretary in advance. This should be a very enjoyable day with many different events.
