This is her first medal in a Tralee Harriers vest, borrowed from her younger brother I am told, and no doubt not her last.

RUNNING LEAGUE: The club is in the process of setting up a running league aimed at casual runners and keep-fit enthusiasts. The formula is based on the West Waterford system which has proved very successful for that club. It also forms the basis of the AAI and Irish Sports Council Fit4Life and Women In Sport initiatives. A meeting will take place in O’Donnell’s bar on Friday night October 20th at 9.30 for all interested in getting involved.

OTHER: The awards night is provisionally planned for Friday 17th of November so make a date in your diary for this event. This year’s awards night will span all ages for U9 to Masters.

CLUB E-MAIL: The club has set-up an e-mail system so athletes and members can receive regular updates by e-mail. Athletes and members can register their e-mail address via the website at www.traleeharriers.com.
