Club Notes 26/10/05

Munster uneven age cross country took place last Sunday in Clare and the club had two athletes present in the U13 category. Ciara Walsh running in her first Munsters came in 20th place in a very big field. Ciara started well taking up the lead early on but she got caught up in a bunch and the leaders managed to get away leaving her too much to do. Michael Godley came 17th, again in a very large field. Michael was caught at the start in a large group but fought back finishing very strongly to move up to 17th position. Next up is the even age cross country league in Currow this weekend at 1pm.

Cross Country training will move to Tuesday next week to Na Gaeil GAA pitch at 7pm. This will be the last session before the Munsters Even Age so we would ask all athletes competing to attend this session.
