Primary School Sports Tralee Harriers A.C. will host a Primary Schools Sports for the Tralee Area on 22nd of April, 2005 at Mounthawk Secondary School, Tralee. The first race will begin at 6pm. All schools in the Tralee Area are invited to participate. The first 3 athletes and the winning relay team in events from 2nd to 6th class will qualify for the Kerry Primary School Sports on 28th May at An Riocht Track, Castleisland at 11am. Programme of Events (Separate races for boys and girls) Infant 40m 1st class 60m 2nd class 80m, 4x100m relay 3rd class 80m, 200m 4th class 100m, 200m, 4x100m relay 5th class100m, 600m 6th class 100m, 600m, 4x100m relay. Children in 1st, 3rd and 5th may move up a class to complete in 2nd, 4th, 6th class relays respectively. Athletes are confined to winning a medal in one individual event, so as to spread the medals among as many athletes as possible. Entry Fee: E2 per athlete. Entries will be taken on the day.
