Club Notes 23/6/04 Austin Stacks Park was the place to be last weekend for two great days of sports. Over two thousand competitors from age's u8 to u16 competed in all the track and field events. The weather held up and medals were very hard to come by. Congratulations to all who competed and especially to those qualifying for Mosney. Great credit is due to all the officials and organisers who ran the events off so smoothly and without any delays whatsoever. It was very enjoyable. Big congratulations to Laura Crowe who came home with silver in the 800m junior European Championships in Germany last Saturday. A reminder that the Munster u14 to u19 AAI championships will be held in Cork next weekend Sat June 26th and Sun June 27th. Events begin at 11am sharp both days, best of luck to all competing. Finally our annual church gate collection is coming up shortly at the vigil mass Sat July 3rd and Sunday 4th masses. Volunteers are required to help out with the collection at St Johns and the Dominicans so if you are available please contact Adrienne at 066 7126436.
