Club Notes 16/6/04 This past weekend was full of action over in Castleisland with the juvenile Munster championships. In the u9 boys David Murphy won silver in the ball throw, while Roman Loucher won silver in a very exciting 200m. These two boys then teamed up with Donal Mullins, Brian Hill and Ger Browne reserve to win a super gold in the relay. U10 boys 60m saw Danny Pierce win a great gold. In the boys u12 ball throw Ciaran Boyd won a very well deserved bronze. The girls u12 Sinead O Connor who was just pipped at the post in the 600m the previous day won a great bronze in the 60m hurdles. Sinead teamed up with Molly Mc Gilton, Ciara Walsh, Hillary White and Ann Marie Mc Mahon reserve to win bronze in a very tight finish against stiff opposition. Medals were not won easily and many athletes came very close. Congratulations to the winners and well done to all who participated. Don't forget county community games competitions next weekend at Austin Stacks park, bring the sandwiches and the flask for a great days fun and games
